From My Nest to Yours
Holding space for the messy, beautiful middle
For the last two decades, my life was beautifully anchored in the rhythm of motherhood. I know exactly what it means to pour your entire soul into raising your kids, only to look in the mirror one day and wonder who is looking back at you. I am living in the messy, beautiful middle of this transition myself. With two kids in college and my youngest entering senior year, I am preparing for my own nest to become empty. I am intimately familiar with the emotional rollercoaster of this stage: the exciting anticipation of personal freedom versus the deep comfort of having everyone under your roof at the same time.
If you are feeling a confusing mix of grief, anticipation, and a shift in identity —I see you.
Professionally, my background is rooted in education and mental health. A former high school and middle school counselor, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and Washington and have spent years helping clients process deep grief, navigate depression, and untangle their identities from the roles they play. Together, we won't just honor the chapter that is closing—we will actively co-create a meaningful, vibrant next chapter tailored to exactly who you are becoming.
What People Are Saying
You belong here if …
Your children are becoming more independent, and you're finding yourself wondering what this next season of life looks like for you.
You're experiencing feelings of grief, loneliness, uncertainty, or a loss of identity as your role as a parent begins to shift.
You're ready to reconnect with yourself, rediscover what brings you joy, and create a meaningful life beyond parenting.
“Empty Nest Syndrome is often less about your child leaving and more about your identity shifting. .”
